A total of 200-900 sensors are deployed in this project, such as weight sensors, location sensors, air compressor sensors, compactor location sensors, blockage sensors and energy meter that encompass a cluster of HDBs.
Originally operated with just PLC only, we have integrated our smart sensors system to transforms raw data into meaningful insights. Each raw data point is then tagged with location, timestamp and data descriptions, which would then be transmitted through MQTT to HDB's SmartHub. This would allow HDB to map out the entire Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System across all Singapore for a better overview and monitoring.
